Fatal accident: At 8:17 a.m., police went to Route 2020 South at Performance Health & Fitness after a northbound 2000 Honda Civic, driven by Michael Leblanc, 35, of Richmond, crossed the center line and hit a 2016 Honda CRV, driven by Edward Wright, 67, of Peterborough. Leblanc was pronounced dead at the scene. Wright and his passenger, Jean Wright, 63, of Peterborough were taken to Monadnock Community Hospital for evaluation. Both vehicles were towed away with extensive damage.
Accident with a deer: At 9:33 p.m., police went to Old Street Road after a northbound 2012 Honda Pilot, driven by Andrew Sheir, 65, of Hancock, hit a deer that had run into the road. The vehicle had front bumper damage and was driven away. The deer was removed from the scene.
Saturday, March 24
Suspicious incident: At 2:40 a.m. a High Street woman reported a man was walking around her house an knocking on all the windows. Police found the man walking on north on the sidewalk. He said he stopped by to see a friend by forgot which house it was. Officer George C Xenakis gave him a ride home.
Domestic disturbance: At 3:15 a.m., police went to Winter Street when it was reported a man committed criminal mischief and assaulted a man and woman and then left.
Wanted person: At 7:10 a.m., following an assault and criminal mischief and investigation, a warrant was issued for Cody Boutwell, 22, of Peterborough. for burglary, domestic violence simple assault, simple assault and criminal mischief.
Arrest: At 9:30 a.m., police arrested Cody Boutwell, 22, of Peterborough on Old Dublin Road on a warrant for burglary, domestic violence simple assault, simple assault and criminal mischief and took him to the police station. He was processed, and bail was set at $5,000 cash. Boutwell paid the cash bail and was given a court date of March 12 at the Hillsborough County Superior Court North.

Accident: 5:40 a.m., police went to Route 101/Wilton Road and Route 202/Granite Street after an eastbound 2006 Ford F-150, River Marmorstein, 19, of Peterborough, on Route 101/Wilton Road hit the guardrail just east of Route 202/Granite Street. The truck had moderate front-end damage and was towed away.
