KEENE — A Keene woman died Saturday after she was stuck by a vehicle at the intersection of Washington Street and Woodbury Street.

Police responded to the intersection around 11:45 p.m. Saturday after receiving a report of a pedestrian vs. motor vehicle collision.

Noreen Whippie, 58, of Keene was found in the roadway with serious injuries.

She had been struck by a vehicle operated by Bryan Bennett, 28, of Keene.

Whippie was taken to Cheshire Medical Center where she ultimately succumbed to her injuries.

It does not appear that speed or alcohol use by the driver were factors in this collision.
