DUBLIN — A police pursuit that started in Dublin ended in a crash in Marlborough.
The driver, Michael R. Dansereau, 54, of Surry has been charged with disobeying an officer, reckless driving, operating while a habitual offender. Police said other charges are forth coming.
On Friday Dublin police attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic infraction, but when the driver didn’t stop a police car chase ensured, according to a press release from the Dublin Police Department.
The initial attempt to stop the 2006 Honda CRV occurred at the intersection of Route 101 and Route 137 in Dublin. When Dansereau refused to stop for the Dublin police office, police pursued him through portions of Dublin, Harrisville and Marlborough.
The police chased ended when the Honda crashed into a bridge on Knowlton Street in Marlborough. Dansereau was taken into custody with out incident after the crash.
Dublin police said no one was injured in the pursuit.
Dublin police were assisted by Marlborough and Keene police, NH State Police and Diluzio Ambulance.
