JAFFREY — New Hampshire State Fire Marshal Paul J. Parisi, Jaffrey Fire Chief David Chamberlain and Jaffrey Police Chief Todd Muilenberg request the public’s assistance regarding a structure fire that occurred at 39 Webster Street in Jaffrey on Sunday, June 21, at approximately 5:40 p.m.

Jaffrey Fire and Police Departments were dispatched to the above address and upon arrival, they found heavy fire in a large, vacant, commercial building. The fire was extinguished with assistance from many mutual aid fire departments from the area as well as from Massachusetts and Vermont. There were no injuries reported.

An investigation is underway into the circumstances surrounding the origin and cause of this fire.
